A familiar name in Pennsylvania is re-launching its app for its home state and for New Jersey sports betting.

Through a skin via Freehold Raceway, betPARX is re-launching its mobile sports betting and iGaming apps in New Jersey.

Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, Inc., parent company of Parx Casino, will work the new app in a partnership with London-based Playtech.

Playtech, which was founded in 1999, is the world’s largest online gambling software supplier.

Parx Casino is the largest casino in Pennsylvania. It is in Bensalem, which is in Bucks County, north of Philadelphia. Parx first announced the partnership between betPARX and Playtech last month, making it the first operator in the U.S. market to launch Playtech’s IMS iGaming platform.

Playtech had partnered with betPARX and Gun Lake Casino to launch Play Gun Lake, a new iGaming app in Michigan.

Offer for New Sign-Ups to App

All new signups will receive a $20 casino bonus or a $20 free sports bet. Also, new sign-ups can get a 100% deposit match up to $750 and 500 free casino spins or free sports bet if their first bet is unsuccessful.

“We look forward to further expanding our footprint in the U.S. and working with betPARX to deliver world-class gambling and sports betting entertainment across multiple states and products,” Playtech CEO Mor Weizer said in a news release.

“We are thrilled to continue to grow Playtech’s iGaming and sports betting partnership with betPARX in other U.S. markets. Playtech’s industry-leading software and expertise provide a high-quality customer experience, and this is exactly what the highly sophisticated consumer market in the U.S. requires.”

The new apps are beginning just in time for March Madness after a seven-day soft launch last week. The apps will allow bettors to access both sports and iGaming content.

"We’ve made the signup and deposit and cash-out processes as simple and smooth as anything in the industry. Plus, we’ve created a product that ensures a great experience to any user, casino or sports.

The relaunched betPARX apps in New Jersey and Pennsylvania offer multiple Playtech titles, including games developed by Playtech’s Origins and Rarestone Studios. The apps also offer several third-party games, including IGT, Konami and AGS, among others.

The all new betPARX app is now available for download on iOS and Android anywhere in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

New Jersey is now the third state in which Playtech is now licensed and operational.
